Can someone PLEASE help me verify that TLS is running on the server? Its shocking how difficult this process really is to do. I am so lost and feel like I am digging farther and farther down a rabbit hole. Then everyone says to use these website scanners like Opens a new window but this is a internal domain so it doesn't detect my domain and cant tell me anything. Everything in the software is grey with a check in it indicated the software doesnt know if it is or not. Then articles talk about using IISCrypto which I did try but quickly learned it doesn't tell you what's currently active and only lets you make changes to activate or deactivate the protocols. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\ registry folder. Infact the only one there is SSL 2.0 which is set disabled. However that registry key does not exist at all for me. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.2\ and check the keys within it. Almost every single article under the sun tells me to check the registry key I have spent like 6 hours searching for a way to simply verify TLS is running on my domain controller.
